The adjustable bed you can actually lie on first

Every Adjustapedic base in this range sits on our Griffith showroom floor at 35 Altin Street, so you raise the head, drop the legs and feel the Geo-Curve for yourself before you decide on anything.

How It Works

Two motors and one remote

The base sits under your mattress. One motor lifts the head, the other lifts the legs, and a wireless remote holds whatever angle you set for as long as you want it.

Flat

Every base still does this perfectly. Nothing about having an adjustable base stops you sleeping flat when that is what you want.

Head raised

Lifts your upper body so you can read or watch television without a pile of pillows behind you, and the remote holds the angle you set.

Zero Gravity

Head and legs raised together so your weight spreads across the whole bed instead of pressing into your hips and lower back.

Legs raised

Raises your legs above the level of your heart, the same position a doctor means when they say to put your feet up.

What People Use It For

Reasons our customers choose one

Back pain

Lying flat holds your whole weight on your hips and lower back all night. Raising the head and the knees spreads that load across the bed instead.

Snoring

A few degrees of head elevation can open the airway, and a split base lets each side of a shared bed move to its own angle.

Reflux

Sleeping with the head end raised is a position people managing reflux often ask us about, and every base in this range holds that angle all night.

Mobility and NDIS

The base sits you up before you stand, so the bed does the lifting rather than your knees and shoulders, which is why we supply this range to NDIS participants and their carers.

Reading and TV

Set the backrest once and it holds, instead of stacking pillows behind you that end up on the floor by morning.

Carers

Raising someone to sitting or adjusting their position at the press of a button can make everyday care easier for the person providing it.

This is general information only, not medical advice, and an adjustable base is not a medical device. If you are managing a health condition, talk to your doctor about whether a change in sleep position may help.

Questions

Adjustable bed questions

Can I try an adjustable base in-store?

Yes. All three Adjustapedic bases are on display at our showroom at 35 Altin Street, Griffith, open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm.

How does the NDIS funding process work?

Sleep Doctor Griffith is a registered NDIS provider, and we supply adjustable bases that can be funded through NDIS plans. Call us on 02 6964 1009 and we will walk you through quoting and the documentation your plan manager needs.

Do you deliver and set up the base?

You can collect from our showroom at 35 Altin Street, and we also deliver locally across the Western Riverina. Every Adjustapedic base folds in half for delivery.

Which mattresses suit an adjustable base?

Our Scancurve mattress is built for adjustable bases, and every Adjustapedic base is compatible with pocket coil, memory foam and hybrid mattress types, so several of our other ranges will suit too. Ask our team in showroom to check your choice against your base.

What warranty comes with the base?

The Adjustapedic 5.0 and 7.0 carry a 2 year warranty on the remote, 6 years on the motors and electrical components and 12 years on the steel frame. Ask our team in showroom for the 6.0's warranty terms.

Does the 60 Night Peace of Mind Guarantee cover the base?

The 60 Night Peace of Mind Guarantee applies to selected premium mattresses, not adjustable bases. Ask our team in showroom which mattresses in this range are eligible.
